What a beautiful lodge – as always!  We’ve stayed here before and everything was perfect once again.  The welcome pack was brilliant and the personalised Christmas stocking for HD Albert was such a thoughtful touch.  The lodge was spotlessly clean, wonderfully cosy and decorated so beautifully for Christmas.  Although the weather wasn’t the best, it didn’t take away from our holiday.  The cosy atmosphere made it even more enjoyable – the perfect place to relax, unwind and switch off.  Rain or shine, this lodge is such a peaceful and comforting escape and we’ve loved every minute of our time here.  Thank you for everything you do to make this place so special, we truly appreciate it and we will definitely be back again.  It was also so lovely to meet Shona in person!!! x

Our 3^rd visit to this lodge and won’t be the last!  Another great holiay – thank you Shona for allowing a dog in your home from home lodge.  Lots of lovely walks, recommend Tarn Hows as beautiful scenery.  Enjoyed the peacefulness, rest, relaxation, swimming & beauty salon – recommend Clare the manager.  Can’t wait to visit again.

We had a lovely break for our 10^th wedding anniversary.  We never go away without our dog and this is the most beautiful, spotlessly clean, dog-friendly accommodation we have stayed in.  Thank you for allowing dogs!  Such a thoughtful host and everything we need!  Thank you 🙂 x woof, woof.

This lodge was absolutely beautiful. However, what made it for us was the owner. She went above and beyond with her care package on arrival. Also, she was always available and quick to get back to any requests we had. I have stayed in many lodges throughout the country, but I have to say Shona made this one the best experience to date.

Superbly equipped lodge with the best shower in self catering accommodation I’ve ever had.  Bed super comfy too!!! Welcome pack also ‘second to none’ thanks Shona.  Despite the dodgy weather we’ve had a fabulous week and feel fully rested and recharged – thank you!!
