By far the best part of my week is when I have the opportunity to make up a Welcome Tray for my lovely guests. I do like to mix it up a bit but usually it consists of the following:
- Tea, coffee, sugar etc including a couple of Speciality Tea bags.
- A Galaxy hot chocolate sachet for each person.
- A selection of jam/marmalade/spread jars.
- A treat bag including a pen with a torch on (for the dark winter nights) and hand sanitiser.
- Nespresso vertuo coffee pods.
- Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion and soap in both shower rooms.
- Packs of biscuits.
- Cake of the week (whichever is looking the most yummy) from Greenlands Farm Shop.
- Fresh, sliced bread (again, bought that morning) from Greenlands Farm Shop.
- Butter in the fridge.
- Fresh milk.
- Bottle of Prosecco.
If you are bringing a dog then I also do a little treat bag for them too – don’t want anyone to feel left out!
I have had feedback from some guests who have found the Welcome Pack really useful especially if they have been stuck on the motorway for some time.
So you can relax from the moment you arrive at Lancaster Lodge and enjoy every minute of your holiday.
